What Patients Say

Mother of A (5 years old)

Our daughter, A, underwent speech therapy focused on improving speech clarity and pronunciation with Ms. Zhi Ying at Magic Beans. Over the two months of therapy, we’ve witnessed significant progress. A now communicates more clearly and confidently. Ms. Zhi Ying, as a therapist, demonstrated great attention to A, seamlessly integrating learning and play to ensure A remained engaged without feeling overwhelmed. Ms. Zhi Ying adeptly managed A’s mood, creating a positive and pressure-free environment. A consistently looked forward to sessions with Ms. Zhi Ying, always leaving happy. After 2 months of consistent therapy, we’re delighted with the remarkable improvement. We extend our best wishes to Ms. Zhi Ying and Magic Beans for the future and wholeheartedly recommend their services to others.

Mother of E (2 years old)

As parents, we were initially concerned when our 2+ year old son could only communicate using five words and relied heavily on actions to express himself. We were worried about possible speech & language delay. However, thanks to the exceptional support and guidance provided by his speech therapist Ms. Zhi Ying, we have witnessed remarkable progress in just a few months. He now confidently uses more than 50 words and even strings together 3-4 words to convey his thoughts. We highly recommend Magic Beans to anyone seeking to enhance their child’s communication skills.

Father of L  (4 years old)

After a strong recommendation from my son’s paediatrician, we contacted Magic Beans for support with our son who was 3 years old at the time with speech delay. After 8 months of weekly speech therapy, my son’s (all round) progress has been immense and very noticeable to all. He is not only vocalising more but can communicate his needs better through short sentences and phrases. We always received feedback after each session (with the session notes) which we found invaluable as that highlighted key areas for us to focus on at home and between his sessions. After a short while, the therapist also built a rapport with our son which facilitated his learning process. It has been a real partnership between parents and speech therapist, and we are truly grateful to Ms Ying for the role she’s played during this critical period in our son’s early development. Thank you.
