Suzanne has been practising as a Clinical Dietitian for over 18 years. Having worked as a Senior Dietitian in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital for over 10 years, Suzanne has comprehensive knowledge in treating children/adults with nutritional problems. Prior to KK Hospital, she has managed adult medical nutrition therapy for general medicine, neurological, psychological, rehab and cardiac medicine through her working experience at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Polyclinics and private hospitals. Over the course of her career, she has contributed to articles in Singapore magazines and newspapers and delivered talks and trainings on nutrition. Suzanne has special interests in nutrition for children, weight management, digestive disorders, nutrition in feeding difficulties, diet therapy for neurological disorders and eating disorders.

Some of the conditions that she manages include: underweight/ IUGR, overweight/obesity, allergy, eating disorders, poor weight gain in children/fussy eating/infant feeding difficulties/ food aversion in children and diet therapy for neurological disorders (e.g. ketogenic diet). Suzanne obtained her undergraduate degree in Dietetics with honours from the National University of Malaysia and postgraduate degree (Masters of Health Science Education) from University of Sydney Australia. She underwent further specialization in Dietetics during her HMDP (Health Manpower Development Plan) – Eating Disorders and Ketogenic Diet at SickKids- The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada. She has undergone further training-certified in SOS Approach to Feeding, and is a Monash Fodmap trained dietitian. She is strongly supportive of extended breastfeeding. She is a member of the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association and American Society for Nutrition.
